A non-custodial wallet means responsibility
With a non-custodial wallet, the user controls access. There may be no central party able to recover funds after a passphrase is exposed or a transaction is sent incorrectly.
Verify the official wallet
Pi Network's official safety page identifies the current official wallet and other official Pi URLs. HILEX recommends checking that page rather than relying on screenshots or forwarded messages.
Common warning signs
- A website or person asks for your wallet passphrase.
- A message promises guaranteed returns or urgent rewards.
- A link uses a slightly altered domain name.
- Someone claims to be official but is not listed on Pi Network's official channels page.
